Any Health Science Library supporting HSE or Non HSE healthcare staff can join the HJNI scheme. The HJNI subscription year runs from January to December so joining in January is recommended. HLI is making membership of HJNI available for free during 2023 to Irish Health Libraries. To enquire about joining, please contact us and we will be in touch with the details.
Submitting your journal holding information:
Please include as many journal titles as you can. Please include details of unique or specialist titles not easily available elsewhere.
Ideally, you should offer least 10 titles with holdings covering at least 3 years where possible. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.
When submitting your library details include:
- Your full library address and at least one named contact person along with email and phone contact information.
- The full current name of your organisation (not just the library name).
Terms of Service
There will be no annual fee for membership. Member libraries will complete a ‘Terms of Service’ agreement with HLI for membership of HJNI. Terms of service will include details of the journal titles to be supplied.
Members are encouraged to:
- Ensure their library contact and holding details are kept up to date
- Provide as many titles as possible for access via HJNI
- Provide access to titles not available via other member libraries
- Include the current year of all holdings where possible
